Techtextil North America (TTNA)’s technology showcase will preview a selection of the innovative products and materials on exhibit during this year’s trade show being held April 1-3, 2008, at the Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta, Ga.
The technology showcase is a special feature area on the show floor (booth 1961) developed to highlight some of the new technologies of TTNA’s exhibitors. This platform presents exhibitors who have completed their latest developments, innovations or products since April 1, 2006.
Exhibitors from around the world will showcase their advanced fibers and materials, manufacturing equipment and unique applications, ranging from flame-resistant fabrics to high-performance outerwear.
DRIFIRE will showcase its silk-weight base layer garments – a soft, comfortable base-layer garment system – that provides inherent moisture management, anti-microbial and flame-resistance performance.
Evalon Textile Co Ltd will showcase its diving suits made with a Dreamfel inside layer that makes neoprene body suits easier to put on and provides additional warmth layers for divers.
Inga Nano Technology Co Ltd will showcase the world's first nanosilver-plated medical protective suit. The IngaTex Nanosilver Protective Suit is made with the company’s PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) technology.
LeaLea Enterprise Co Ltd/Li Peng Enterprise Co, Ltd will showcase the Ecoya recycled, solution-dyed and waterproof polyester bag. This product delivers on the company’s pledge to protect the globe’s ecosystem and environment through an environmentally friendly manufacturing process.

Norafin GmbH will showcase its Norafin 3D performance materials. These products offer enhanced insulation properties as well as improved safety and comfort in applications for fire fighters. It is part of Tencate’s line of peak performance fibers.
Q-Lab Corporation will showcase its Q-Sun Model BO2 Xenon Tester designed specifically to be an affordable lightfast tester that meets the requirements of ISO and AATCC. In addition, its capacity is 48 percent to 92 percent larger than comparable xenon testers.
Richard Hough Ltd will showcase Syncast polyamide calender rolls, used for many calendering and embossing applications. A low-cost upgrade, Syncast sleeves are centrifugally cast for optimum quality. Excellent resistance to surface damage ensures minimum maintenance and extended service life.
SSM Industries Inc will showcase ProFil FR, its line of flame-resistant and filament fabrics which inherently possess excellent wicking characteristics, making it an ideal selection for base-layer garments.
Tiantai South-West Filter-Cloth Factory will showcase Filter Press YPBT 1220, an anti-static filter pressed cloth made of PBT mono filament, and offering performance characteristics that surpass those of nylon.
WEKO North America will showcase the Roto Damping System that applies liquid onto webs through a series of spinning disks. The disks spray drops onto the web surface in a “contactless” manner ensuring precision application.
TTNA is the only trade show that assembles all vertical aspects of the technical textile industry from research and development, through raw materials and production processes, and finally ending in conversion, further treatment and recycling.
