India : Clariant offers complete solutions for processing of yarns & knits

Clariant Chemicals (India) Ltd organized a seminar on “Cost Effective Processes for Knits and Yarns”, on February 18, 2008 at Hotel Angel, in Tirupur.
This seminar highlighted the PROCESS EFFICIENT, COST EFFECTIVE and ECO-FRIENDLY packages for Yarns and Knits.
Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Anjani Prasad, Head of Textile, Leather & Paper Chemicals Division, Clariant Chemicals (India) Limited, emphasized that Clariant offers complete solutions for the processing of yarns and knits.
He elucidated upon the benefits of Ecoswat Concept, highlighting the use of right technology for optimized cost of processes and meeting the required ecological requirements coupled with low consumption of water and utilities. Clariant has set up an expert team to manage all the processes with support from the Consultancy Services team, our state-of-art Lab facilities and the Product Safety Lab, to cater to the various needs of customer.
Mr. Dilip Raghavan, Editor-Publisher, Colour Publications Pvt. Ltd., spoke on the “Current Textile Industry Scenario and the Challenges faced by the Industry”. Dr. Stefan Ohren, Clariant International Ltd., elaborated on “Pre-Treatment”.
Mr. S. Pitchai, Clariant Chemicals (India) Limited, presented on the “Novelties in Dyes”. Mr. S. Jayachandran, Consultant for Knits Processing enlightened the participants on machineries –“THEN – Features and Benefits”. The audience listened with rapt attention to Mr. K. Bergmann from Erbatech, who spoke on – “Erbatech’s – Role in Knits Processing”.
