The participating exhibiters at the 17th edition of the Men’s Fashion Fair, main event for the segment in the country, which was held January 22-25 during the Fenin, National Winter Fashion Fair, in Gramado (RS), underscore the excellent sales performance in the period.
An informal survey taken among the participants indicated that sales were on average 1 to 3 months of the exhibiters’ annual production.
At this edition, the Fair included more than 60 brands from the men's fashion and accessories segments, comprised of a mix of qualified products that includes social wear, suit coats, jackets, knits, jeanswear, shirts, T-shirts, underwear, homewear, ties, belts and briefcases, among others.
For the first time, the fair had the master sponsorship of Lycra, which is increasingly expanding its participation in menswear.
“For Lycra, which intends to reinforce its presence in the men’s segment, this is the ideal event,” says Célia Pinho, the brand’s Ready to Wear product manager.
“Well-established in its 17th edition, the event stands out due to the qualification of the buyers and the excellent product mix offered.
Lycra’s presence as a sponsor shows our confidence in the strength and potential of the men's segment,” she concluded.
Sonia Hess de Souza, director of the Men’s Fashion Show, attributes “the positive results obtained from our participation in the Fair to the expressive number of qualified buyers who circulate about the fair and the tradition and confidence obtained from fair exhibiters with the retail market.”
