USA : Mr. Sokolowski makes strategic plan to develop Kellwood brand

George Sokolowski was named corporate vice president strategy and chief marketing officer by the Kellwood Company board of directors on January 25, 2008, according to Robert C. Skinner Jr., chairman, president and chief executive officer of Kellwood.
Sokolowski joined Kellwood as vice president strategy and chief marketing officer on January 7, 2008. He has more than 30 years of experience in the retail and consumer packaged good industries, and most recently served as managing partner of SkyTop Advisors, a retail marketing advisory group.
His responsibilities include strategic planning, brand development and positioning, consumer research, and trend analysis.
Based in New York, Sokolowski reports to Skinner.
