After persistently leaping higher for past couple of months, cotton prices have finally begun slide.
According to Karachi Cotton Association (KCA), while yesterday the prices dropped to Rs2,950, today rates were down to Rs2900 per maund.
Prices have been fluctuating unbelievably and it has become extremely difficult to predict anything for the future.
Cotlook indices show that the A-I n d e x stood at 67.40 today.
