Barbados Community College (BCC), Bridgetown, will celebrate the final day of fashion exhibition, today.
Held at Grande Salle, this event displays creations by six talented students.
Sources say that the College opted to organize a fair rather than a fashion show so as to get access to wider range of consumers.
Fashion shows are restricted as they are usually night events and are held in closed areas.
However, this year the students have set up booths to attract local shoppers and tourists with their innovative designs.
Insiders inform, Teesha Todd’s Annie collections are inspired by the Diane Keaton movie, ‘Annie Hall’, and the Scheanny Waterman’s range reflects the 50s fashion in ‘Down With Love’.
Carla-Maria Layne offered swimwear inspired by tropical forest fascia. Meanwhile, Tracy Clarke was the only one to venture into men’s clothing category with ‘Gizmo Gear’ line.
