Over 70% of the available exhibition space at INDEX 08, taking place at GENEVA PALEXPO, Switzerland from 15th – 18th April 2008, is already sold. Previous exhibitors return time and again to this flagship event for the dynamic nonwovens industry worldwide due to its broad geographic appeal and ability to attract high-quality visitors. An unprecedented programme of educational and informative side events will ensure that the target of 13’000 visitors is achieved.
Space at the world’s largest nonwovens exhibition is selling fast. Over 70% of the available exhibition area has already been booked by returning exhibitors to the event, who have reserved some 16’000 m2 net of stand space, with almost a year to go to the event!
Exhibitors come back to INDEX 08 because it is quite simply the biggest professional exhibition in the world dedicated to nonwovens and relating industries, and companies seeking dynamic solutions to business issues know that it is the event which unites the entire industry worldwide.
A truly global event:
Every three years visitors from over 100 countries throughout the world converge upon INDEX in Geneva. In 2005 there were big increases in attendees from emergent markets such as Central & Eastern Europe, the Middle & Near East, China, Latin America and India, who came to see all the possibilities this vertically-integrated event has to offer. Unique in its field, INDEX brings together all aspects of the industry, from raw material producers to converters.
Consequently, INDEX 08 will be the largest nonwovens event anywhere in the world, occupying some 50’000 m2 of exhibition halls. Exhibitors representing all elements of the industry will attend - from niche-market specialists to the industry heavyweights - all entirely focussed on nonwovens and the serving industries.
Where decision-makers meet:
INDEX attracts all the most senior representatives in the industry. A survey amongst INDEX 05 visitors revealed that over 60% of show attendees occupy high-level managerial positions, such as General Managers, CEO’s and Directors, from a broad range of job functions including Marketing, R & D, Engineering and Technical roles, as well as specifiers and consultants from nonwoven-using industries.
Covering the widest range of industry applications:
Part of the success of INDEX is its ability to appeal to trade visitors from the full range of nonwovens markets and end-uses. This means that whether the visitor’s interest is in the automotive or filtration field, in composites or packaging applications, household goods or hygiene, INDEX has something featuring the use of nonwovens in that particular field of application.
Outlining the strategy for next year’s event, Exhibition Director Georges F. Kindhauser explained, ’The objective is to provide our high-level visitors with a compelling reason to attend INDEX08, tailored specifically to their industry and field of operation. INDEX 08 will thereforehighlight particular target applications for nonwovens, with selected end-uses receiving increased focus within the exhibition itself:’
An extensive array of product presentations, courses and workshops will ensure that a trip to INDEX 08 in Geneva is a valuable professional experience.
