ABIT’s Decoration Textile Committee (Texbrasil Decor) held the Texbrasil Home Textiles and Decoration Fair August 6-10 at the Anhembi Expo Pavilion in São Paulo. The objective of the event was to facilitate research work for furniture designers, decorators and architects by gathering next year’s trends and launches, and introducing several options, in a single space.
“This is a great opportunity to exchange information with furniture manufacturers and decoration fabric resellers, as well as to make some good business," says Marielza Milani, Committee coordinator.
This edition of the Texbrasil Home Textiles and Decoration Fair had the participation of 21 fabric suppliers for the furniture sector: Abduche, Anfra, Beretta Rossi, Bruno Nicoletti, Decorfancy, Dinitêxtil, Estrela, Fiama, Frantex, Hudtelfa, Lalitex, Lartex, Leslie, Panamericana, Pelican, Supertec, Tapecol, Temar, Texion, Texpoint and Tramare.
The Texbrasil Fair is held by ABIT with the support of APEX-Brasil and it received the visit of Colombian buyers as an export incentive through the Texbrasil Program, as well as customers from around the country. “I made contacts with all the companies and got to know some high quality products,” comments Colombian buyer Andres Wartenberg.
“I chose four companies that will send me samples. I believe we will do business,” adds Wartenberg, who already imports from countries like the United States, China and Spain, among others. The other buyers, Carlos Cerballos and Juan Parias, also praised the quality of the Fair’s products.
A patchwork panel was exhibited at the event made of the exhibiters’ fabrics. It showed the public a sample of the main color trends for coming seasons.
