On the occasion of 60th Year of Independence, Khadi Bhavan is probably proudest of all!
Khadi, the garment of Mahatma Gandhi, symbolizes individuality, freedom and liberty, like nothing else.
Khadi Bhavan has year after year successfully hand-woven and sold innumerable cotton khadi national flags, especially during the patriotic occasions.
The demand for this Teeranga shoots up at the time of India's Independence Day on 15 August and on the Republic day on 26 January.
Experts say that while manufacturing the flag every facet requires utmost attention. In a real and ideal flag, precise measures and perfect colours as well as exact number of spokes in the Ashoka Chakra have to be carefully detailed and presented flawlessly. Not everyone can ace this job.
Bhavan offers flags in varied sizes, all made from eco-friedly and pleasing khadi cloth. Flag measuring two feet by three feet is most popular among the common masses.
The flags are available in two qualities, ST cloth, which is thin and also the thicker DT variety and all are approved by Indian Standard Institute (ISI).
Many NRIs also prefer Bhavan when it comes to buying Indian flag, where it is available all year round.
