Vietnam : Textile & Apparel Allocation Board honoured!

Minister of Industry and Trade (has just been established by merging Ministry of Industry and Trade) has granted honorable award to Textile and Apparel Allocation Board, which is leading agency for industry’s export activities in the country.
Established in 2004, under management of MOT and MOI, the board has set up and carried out many policies and programs on textile and apparel exports, especially in years when Vietnamese apparel export to the US market was facing quota mechanism.
According to Vu Huy Hoang, Minister of Industry and Trade, the board has made significant contribution to Vietnam’s success in exporting textile and apparel products in the recent years, especially during the anti – dumping investigation period by the US.
Le Quoc An, Chairman of Vitas expressed his thanks on behalf of local enterprises for the Board’s support and flexible mechanism, and proposed that it provides companies with more favorable conditions in the coming time.
