The VDMA textile machinery association is delighted about the positive feed back received from trade visitors and journalists attending the guided VDMA tours themed “Innovations – Made in Germany” at ITMA 2007.
32 exhibitors from Germany took the chance to present their innovations during three dedicated tours. Tour 1 covered chemical fibre plants, spinning preparatory and spinning machinery as well as nonwovens machinery. Tour 2 led the attendees to manufacturers of weaving, knitting and braiding machinery. Tour 3 gave an overview about developments in finishing machinery.
“We carried out six tours altogether. The participants highly appreciated the approach to provide a compact overview of latest solutions."
"The information given during the tours, enabled the attendees to plan a detailed visit of the respective companies afterwards, explained Nicolai Strauch, Press Officer of the VDMA textile machinery association."
“We are indebted to the ITA Aachen and ITB Dresden. Five employees from these two renowned university institutes did an excellent job by preparing the tours in the months and weeks before ITMA”, Strauch summarised.
