By invitation of the Egyptian Chamber of Textile Industries and under the auspices of theEgyptian Ministry of Trade and Industry, the International Textile Manufacturers Federation (ITMF) will convene for its Annual Conference in Cairo, Egypt from November 18 to 20, 2007.
The general theme of this year’s ITMF Annual Conference – Textile Competitiveness in an Integrated World – indicates that the Conference focuses on the important question as to how textile manufacturers have to position themselves in order to remain competitive in a quota-free world.
Experts from all segments along the textile value chain will shed light on topics such as the changing relation between retailers and textile manufacturers, the influence of China’s textile industry in an ever more integrated world, the role of renewable resources, ways to higher energy efficiency, Egypt’s place in the textile world or the outlook on the future EU trade policy.
