Around two months before the start of the IMB Forum 2007, it’s already clear that the event has established itself as an important fixed point on the sector’s agenda. The international exhibition with an accompanying congress, which will take place at the Cologne exhibition center from November 21 to 22, 2007, has come to be one of the sector’s top annual events.
That’s why many leading companies regard participation in the IMB Forum as an absolute must. Or, as Holger Klappstein, Managing Director Sales and Marketing of TXTe solutions GmbH in Halle, puts it: “The IMB Forum is one of the most important information platforms for the fashion, garment, footwear, and textile industries.”
Hannes Rambold, CEO of MobiMedia AG in Pfarrkirchen, shares that opinion: “A visit to the trade fair is immensely important for every decision-maker. Only here is it possible to get a complete overview and all the expertise of the IT sector gathered together. As a result, you can make important investment decisions on the basis of optimal information.”
Andrew W Dalziel, SCM Product Director of the U.S. company Lawson Software of St. Paul, Minnesota, says: “We regard the IMB Forum 2007 as a great platform for us to meet existing and potential new customers. Our past experience of participating in the IMB Forum has been positive, and we will be present once again this year.”
The immense success of the IMB Forum is based on the fact that the event perfectly supports direct dialogue between the sector’s users and suppliers. This is also an important factor for Dominik Berger, Managing Director of RF-IT Solutions GmbH in Graz: “The IMB Forum offers us an ideal presentation platform for our goods and services in this area, while simultaneously offering us the opportunity to conduct intensive discussions with our customers.”
“The IMB Forum offers a perfect interface between the textile business and ourselves as technology suppliers.”
That’s also a key factor in the decision made by Futura Retail Solution AG of Stelle to exhibit at the fair: “We value the IMB Forum because we meet exactly the right people there, in small groups. For years now, we have appreciated both the platform and the people who attend,” says Vanjo Wandscher, CEO of the company.
And Peter Feldmann, Key Account Manager in the corporate area Ident & Automation of deister electronic GmbH from Barsinghausen, views the IMB Form as a superb opportunity to present his company’s products to an ideal target group: “The IMB Forum offers a perfect interface between the textile business and ourselves as technology suppliers.”
