India : Aditya Birla Nuvo likely to fetch revenue of 419 mn

Aditya Birla Nuvo, a diversified company under Aditya Birla Group is expecting to fetch revenue of over 17 billion rupees (US $419 million) from its textile and garment trade by the end of this fiscal ending on March next year. This was declared in a press meet recently.
Vikram Rao, Business Director, textiles and apparel for the Aditya Birla Group, told reporters, "We are growing at about 25 percent and the company would spend about one billion rupees to expand its retail operations".
Aditya Birla Nuvo is the India's second largest producer of viscose filament yarn (VFY), enjoys market leadership in the garments trading through its popular lifestyle brands like Louis Philippe, Van Heusen, Allen Solly and Peter England and it is the largest producers of linen fabric in the country.
