A fashion show on Sunday, October 28, changed the look of the pompous garden designed by Burle Marx at the Theatro José de Alencar in Fortaleza, Ceará. And the reason was more than special: it was the official launch of the Coletivo – Acervo Aberto brand.
Altogether, nine stylists, members of the Project, participated in the free event, which was open to the public and inspired on the art of serving tea, from Zabumba tea to Waiting tea. Actually, several types of tea were served to the guests during the presentation of the collections proposed for the high summer of 2008.
Ayres Jr. opened the line up with his Zabumba tea and he bet on tight-fitting jeans with high and defined waistlines. He also created comfortable pieces like the balloon dress over skinny slacks for next season.
Manuel Bessa served Imperial tea. He dressed princesses with short balloons and leg-of-mutton sleeves. For the princes, low cut jeans with an interesting play with pockets. China tea was served by Cândida Lopes.
And from the other side of the world she brought dresses in light fabrics with differentiated collars or V necks and high waists. Stylist Francisco Matias offered Literary tea. And he found harmony in light and ample pieces in the deconstructed modeling.
He was followed by Lúcio Áureo who proposed the Dolls tea, presenting pieces with delicate touches, innocent colors, like the mini plaids. The woman’s attitude is seen in the short length anddefined waist.
