Germany : Arab headwear supplier installs Monforts Montex stenters

The world’s largest manufacturer and supplier of traditional Arab headwear has installed two new Monforts Montex stenters at its factory in China to meet increasing demand for its products from the Middle East countries.
Ajlan & Bros Co of Saudi Arabia was founded in the early 1950’s as a one-stop supplier of men’s garments such as the traditional forms of headwear known as the yashmagh and the ghuttra, and also including Arabian thobes, shirts and undergarments.
In recent years Ajlan has established 16 production subsidiaries in China for 100% export, and markets its products in Saudi Arabia and other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries; mploying more than15,000 people. Through a range of popular and respected brand names Ajlan has become the leader in Arab fabric companies, and was the first Arabian Gulf company to be awarded ISO 9002 certification in the field of men’s wear.
It also has been awarded OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Class II and is shortly to be awarded Certification for Standard 100 Class I.
Suzhou Deylon Textile Co Ltd was established at Badu Industrial Park, Wujiang City in Jiangsu Province in 2002 as a subsidiary for solely manufacturing headwear. There are four divisions within Suzhou Deylon, namely for yashmagh weaving, ghuttra weaving, finishing, and packing.
With more than 3,000 members of staff and more than 1,000 looms, Suzhou Deylon has become the world’s largest producer of the traditional red-and-white yashmagh, and the semi-translucent white or cream ghuttra.
