Switzerland : Rieter card C 60 at ITCE Cairo 2008

Write: Rekha [2011-05-20]

At the ITCE in February 2008, Rieter will exhibit their latest C 60 card. A special card and unique in many ways. Foremost because of the revolutionary working width of 1500 mm. This makes the C 60 currently the most productive card on the world market with output of up to 220 kg/h. It processes staple fibers up to 60 mm with consistently high sliver quality. Quality yarns in all spheres of application - rotor-spun, ring-spun and vortex-spun yarns, and yarns made from man-made fibers - are produced reliably.
Since its market launch 3700 C 60 cards have been sold worldwide, demonstrating impressively the technological and economical advantage of this unique card. Due to its modular design, the C 60 can be quickly converted from a 3 licker-in unit to a single licker-in, thus achieving unparalleled flexibility and short maintenance times. The competitive position of spinning mills is strengthened by the ability to respond rapidly to changes in raw material or the spinning process.
The Integrated Grinding System (IGS top and IGS classic), guarantees consistent high carding quality and significantly reduce maintenance time and a considerably prolonged service life of the clothing.
The exhibited card is the 3000th produced C 60 and has already been sold to Mr. Ibrahim Hussein from Egyyarn Cairo. Egyyarn is a new private company however, with long roots in the textile industry.
This card is part of a complete Rieter installation for the production of fine count COM4 yarns. So therefore the exhibited C 60 is specially equipped for the production of fine count yarns, i.e. the integrated grinding system IGS, the Q-Package, single licker-in with needle beater and the selected card wires.
ITCE’11 is The 11th International African-Arabian Exhibition for Textile, Embroidery and Sewing Machinery & Accessories. It will take place during February 28 to March 2nd, 2008 at Cairo Fair Ground, Egypt.
