It was during the recently held Ethno-design Fashion Week that Tawanda Zawanda, an upcoming local designer, launched his clothing brand Limit X.
Limit X is jointly owned by Zawanda and his wife Yvonne and provides a range of garments suitable to both men and women of all ages.
The launch turned out to be successful with customers getting impressed by the whole line of casual clothing like T-shirts, Henley’s formal shirts, vests, shorts and accessories like baseball hats, skullcaps and tennis peak caps.
Addressing at the official launch of Limit X in Harare, Yvonne, marketing executive for Limit X pointed out, “At Limit X we find the idea of being responsible for your own reality both challenging and inspirational. That is why we created this premium brand of excellence."
He further stressed, "Our mission is to inspire initiatives, progress and new possibilities. We want to urge people to dream the impossible, to fully become who they are and what they are capable of becoming. Limit X is about seeing it, believing it, becoming it and making it happen. No limits and no boundaries."
Following this, Zawanda who is the director of the brand observed, “The Limit X brand strongly reflects such compelling premium quality attributes as authenticity, durability and functionality; and all of these qualities have been incorporated into the line's design and performance. It is a full line of lifestyle clothing that links the brand authenticity with related casual fashion characteristics that today's active young adults demand."
At present Zwanda has been displaying his collection at various national and international fairs, although, he does have plans to market his products in the retail outlets of the malls. Besides, the brand is also made available online where customers can transact a deal.
