Lich Dong villagers in Vietnam, have been locally manufacturing glasses carrying popular brand names like Gucci; CK and Solec.
This trend has been followed for several decades to the extent that nearly 90 percent of the sun glasses sold in Vietnam are produced by these villagers.
Counterfeit glasses are made accessible to the masses at an astoundingly low price and this is becoming a growing concern for the Government.
Numerous instances of production of fake goods have surfaced in countries across the world. Branded garments are also counterfeited and it's time to take actions to restrict illegal manufacturing.
Shops selling glasses made by Lich Dong villagers are set up all throughout the country. However, sources inform that of the 10,000 glasses shops existing in Vietnam over 90 percent of the owners lack health-related expertise.
Most of the supplies require for glasses are imported from China and almost all of those fake materials have brand names attached. Manufacturers refrain from admitting that the sun glasses are produced locally by them.
