Gossamer cashmeres: Daily luxury that cannot be renounced it is difficult to find a single expression that encapsulates the richness and preciousness of these products made using select and sought-after raw materials which are subsequently crafted into yarns of outstanding quality. Brightness, softness to the touch, satin-finished surfaces, refinement and daily convenience all go to make up these prized and complex blendings.
The goods form part of the b-exclusive line and have been designed to meet contemporary needs for precious elegance and day-to-day comfort. They are of impeccable and sophisticated countenance, they combine the simple gratification of wearing the garment with the joy of feeling the sensation of its delicate touch on your skin.

Super extrafine 200’s 170’s – 140’s – 120’s from time to time they can be fine or gossamer, or perhaps smooth and glossy, or else gentle, soothing and seductive in the ultra-light weights. These high-quality yarns are obtained from super extrafine wools following strict criteria, in the sense that only fibre of no greater than 13.5–15.00–16.5 microns is selected, and with the utmost care.
The high quality of the raw material consents an infinite range of colour options, including sophisticated supermelange shades. Fancy matted and carded yarns wool is a precious key player in our collections and is used as a decorative element in our fanciest yarns. The yarns take on some what coarse features in the high thread counts, to the point where they produce three-dimensional effects.
Buttons and mélange shades are converted into graphic elements to adorn and colour knitwear. The bouclés have a thick and light, as well as a soft and enveloping irregular texture. They can be multicolour or more soberly monochrome, minimalist, come in nonsolid colours or with flashes and mouline contrasts.
In short, these rich yarns extol shaggy effects, as can be seen, for example, in the mohair and kid fur lines. The need to discern the softness of the material has led to better compactness in order togenerate effects of greater thickness in these gritty and sporty carded yarns, whose slightly matted appearances stir up images of flannels. “air spun” for extreme lightness air spinning is a technology designed and perfected to add extreme lightness and softness to yarn. The desire to manufacture yarns that manifest illusionary weight (in the sense that they are soft, spongy and bulky in appearance, but virtually ethereal to the touch) lies at the heart of this technology.
The yarns appear weightless, inflated by a surge of air that has transformed them into knitwear items of extraordinary comfort, an effective compromise between “the most painstaking technique” and “a desire for naturalness”.
The secret lies in knowing how to “trap the air” inside the yarn, thus facilitating the production of voluminous knitwear whose heaviness is decreased by 40-50% compared to normal standards. These significantly reduced weights can, therefore, be defined as the expression of a creativeness that is at once capable of manufacturing compact surfaces and of devising plays on special-effects and movements.
Rare fibres discover rare fibres and unique varieties. Select only the best fleeces. Appreciate the natural colour of the fibre without the need for alterations. Neutral colours that extol the high quality of the materials. Baby llama this fleece is similar to cashmere and is obtained by way of a long and meticulous process of dehairing, after which the rough fibres are removed and only the gossamer ones remain (20.5 mic.). The dehaired baby llama is as soft as cashmere, but warmer, lighter as and more durable than wool.
It is also available in natural shades and its fibres can be used in combinations with other fine equivalents to obtain a wide range of colours capable of gratifying even the most demanding tastes. Camel hair is light and pleasing to the touch. it is taken from the undercoat which moults naturally in springtime.
The most prized hairs derive from the Bactrian camel which can be found in Asia, but more specifically in Mongolia and the Persian Gulf. The colour is generally used unaltered but can nonetheless vary from light cream to dark brown. Kike the capra hircus (cashmere goat), the camel, too, has a somewhat bland outer coat, and in fact the best quality fibre is to be obtained from its undercoat.
The silky hair and the fine down are separated in the process known as “dehairing”. Since it lives in areas where there are harsh winters, the animal develops a soft and smooth undercoat suitable for use in the manufacture of fine knitwear.
