EMPREINTE, France-based specialist in bras in larger sizes, will be exhibiting its Melody line at the Harrogate Lingerie & Swimwear exhibition, which will be held in Harrogate (England) from 22 to 24 February 2009.
All of EMPREINTE’s models combine seductive design with incomparable support. Its latest design is the Melody line, which is made of moulded sheer lace (up to 36G). Britain, Ireland and Nordic countries are among the brand’s major markets for exports.
EMPREINTE specialises in designing lingerie for women with larger bust sizes. Its bras are specially designed to offer stylish support – the cup material (whether tulle, lace or microfibre) always holds its shape, without the use of spandex. The back-strap material will not deform after stretching but will always retain its initial shape: it stretches 100%, as compared to 140% for standard materials.
Thanks to a specially designed pattern, the straps attach to the bra back in such a way that the middle of the back, the strap’s pull and the side of the bra are perfectly balanced. Strap elasticity is reduced to 30% (as opposed to 50% for a standard strap). The underwiring is closed, producing a slimming effect from the front, with thicker components to keep the bra perfectly in place. Each band/cup size corresponds to a specific strap width and hook height.
This ready-to-wear lingerie is designed to provide wearers with the impression that it is custom-fitted – each model is available in 40 band and cup sizes. EMPREINTE is the only underwear brand to offer such an extensive range of sizes (up to 46G).
At the Harrogate Lingerie & Swimwear exhibition, EMPREINTE will be presenting its latest Melody range, which is available in black, ivory and caramel up to size 36G. This design – a fashionable blend of opaque and transparent fabric – offers the refinement of sheer lace alongside high-tech performance. A delicate chain of lace flowers alternates with satiny mesh. Moulded to form a seamless cup, the material ensures optimal support, while a satin-covered foam strap provides the ultimate in comfort. A hint of satin trim creates a stunning neckline leading down to the bra’s centre, which is made of muslin and satin.
EMPREINTE (empreinte.eu), which is headquartered in Brest, in Brittany (in western France), first opened its workshops in 1946. Its first C cup bra was produced in 1954, followed by the D cup in 1960, and then the E cup in 1962. The company’s first swimsuit collection was released in 1972. In 1998, the brand began to export its design, and EMPREINTE is now present on markets ranging from Europe and Russia to North America, Australia and Japan.
EMPREINTE will take part in the Harrogate Lingerie & Swimwear show in Harrogate (England) from 22 to 24 February 2009.
