They did not only build up their ability of general listening, oral presentation, reading and writing in English, but also get familiar with technical English in accounting and auditing and laid a solid language foundation for future work.
Through class-room courses, they acquired theoretical knowledge about accounting, auditing, legal frame work and economics. During the internship period, they were able to apply the theoretical knowledge in practice and improved their understanding of economic operations and auditing techniques of Canada.
Meanwhile, they also put forward very constructive observations and recommendations on the Chinese audit practice, associating what they have learned abroad with their audit work in China. The trainees took every opportunity to introduce to Canadian colleagues on Chinese audit practices. They also made a lot of Canadian friends there, showed the true China to Canadian people and set up a true image of modern Chinese.
