6th to 11th March, workshop on audit on resource and environment of 2009 was hosted by CNAO in Beijing Entrusted by Mr. Linghu An, Deputy Auditor General, Mr. Dong Dasheng, Deputy Auditor General of CNAO attend the workshop and delivered an important speech. 140 participants from headquarters, residential audit offices and local audit institutions attend the above said workshop.
During his speech, Mr. Dong stressed that, in 2008, under the dual leadership of CNAO and local government, audit institutions at various level actively carried out audits on resource and environment, which played an important role on maintaining national security, carrying out fundamental policies of our country of save resource and environmental protection and promoting sound and fast economic development. Now, environmental audit has been a cross-office work.
Dr. Dong Stressed that form now on, the following five aspects should be strengthened or improved regarding the audit on resource and environment.
Firstly, the awareness on the importance of audit on resource and environment should be increased.
We should increase the awareness of the importance of audit on resource and environment.
We should carry out the audit on resource and environment comprehensively.
We should construct the resource and environment audit system should.
We should strengthen the human resource build on the resource and environment audit
We should devote ourselves to finish the commitment of resource and environment audit of year 2009.
