The Chinese National Audit Work Conference was held in Beijing in January,2001. More than 200 audit officials in charge attended the conference. They were representing Audit Offices of provinces, autonomous regions, central municipalities and specially designated cities as well as resident and dispatched offices of CNAO.
Mr. Wang Zhongyu, Chinese State Councilor and Secretary General of the State Council attended the opening ceremony of the conference and made important speech. Mr. Li Jinhua , Audit General of CNAO delivered a work report entitled Discriminating Situations and Defining the Task to Open up a New Prospect for Audit Work.
The Conference was convened in the spirit of the 5th Plenary Session of the 15th Central Committee of CCP and China Central Economic Work Conference, communicated Premier Zhu Rongji s important instruction on audit work and summarized national audit work conditions of 2000, studied and deployed the audit work of 2001.
