5th March, 2009, In his Council Working Report, Mr. Wen Jiabao, Premier of the State Council raised new requirements on audit work. He stressed that people s governments at varies level should accept supervision from the People s Congress and Political Consultative Conference self-consciously. The supervision by entities like Ministry of Supervise and National Audit Office should be further strengthened. The supervision from the public and media should be paid highly attention. The supervision should go wherever the executive power goes, while the audit should go wherever the public funds were used.
