The driver, Chen Hanwu, was caught by Pingshan police Monday. Chen allegedly struck and injured a woman and dragged the male victim, a Henan native named Zhang, beneath his car as they were crossing the street early Monday morning near Kengzi Bus Terminal in Pingshan New Zone.
The woman suffered a fractured wrist and Zhang fell free of the car when it stopped for a red traffic light, police said in a press release yesterday. Zhang remains in a critical condition, the Pingshan People s Hospital said. Mei Ge
