THE city exit and entry authority helped provide visas for nine members of the Uzbekistan delegation attending the Asian Games who lost their registration cards during the trip to Shenzhen.
Shenzhen airport received a notice from Korean Air on Wednesday saying nine athletes boarding a plane from Incheon to Shenzhen had lost their registration cards.
According to regulations, people must return to their home country to apply for a visa for entry if their Asiad registration cards are lost.
The exit and entry authority helped provide visas by verifying their identities with the Games organizing committee, police said Thursday. Organizers were reminded that the Asian Games registration card was an important document for foreign athletes entering China.
