Marius von Tangen-Jordan, executive assistant manager of rooms at the Ritz-Carlton, Shenzhen, places a gingerbread brick on the hotel s charity gingerbread house yesterday. Welcoming Christmas with a selection of festive decorations, the hotel is selling gingerbread bricks for 88 yuan (US$13) each to assemble a unique gingerbread house. People can write their names and wishes on the bricks. All proceeds will be donated to the Shenzhen Min ai Disabled Children s Welfare Center on Dec. 31. Sun Yuchen
