A Rhesus macaque in a housing estate in Futian District yesterday. The monkey made its way into an apartment on the estate to steal food when it was seen by the homeowner identified only as Chen. The city wildlife protection center was called and staff were sent to catch the animal which was still at large at press time. The wildlife center said the monkey was a State-protected animal.
