THE city s human resources and social security administration has released a video of a man attacking a pregnant employee Tuesday.
The attacker, Lu Zhigao, 44, who was detained by police, was allegedly dissatisfied with a ruling on his work-related injuries. In the video, Lu can be seen grabbing the woman by the hair and banging her head on her desk several times.

The administration had appointed a deputy head to lead an investigation while the woman s injuries were being assessed, the Shenzhen Economic Daily reported Thursday.
Lu told the Southern Metropolis Daily that the woman had lost an important document related to his claim involving work-related injuries.
He said the document had been provided by his former employer to prove his injuries happened between 2005 and 2007 and were a result of an earlier injury received in preventing an accident involving a workmate in the factory workshop, the paper said.
Lu claimed he had handed the document to Shao, the injured woman, in the first of repeated applications for a work-related injury appraisal.
He had submitted 10 applications for appraisal over the years but his injuries had been classified as Grade 8, indicating Lu had a partial disability despite his appeals to have the assessment reclassified to Grade 6 which carried compensation of around 60,000 yuan, 30,000 yuan more than the Grade 8 compensation, plus permanent employment.
Administration officials said the document Lu mentioned would have no influence on the appraisal of his injuries.
Shao had applied for a transfer to another department.
There are only 12 employees with the appraisal office which handles more than 23,000 assessments a year. (Martin Li)
