SALES of new apartments in Shenzhen dropped by 49 percent in November, compared with October.
The average price dropped 6 percent to 18,061 yuan (US$2,713) per square meter in November, urban planning, land and resources commission sources said Wednesday. A total of 2,518 apartments were sold in November, almost half the number sold in October.
False advertising
THE parents of 116 junior school students who were deceived by false advertising had been paid compensation by Shenzhen Polytechnic.
The remaining 21 students who are eligible for admission have been enrolled by the school for professional training.
According to an agreement signed by the school with its partner Longgang Hanlin Training School, Hanlin school was to help enroll high school graduates to study at Shenzhen Polytechnic. Hanlin exaggerated an advertisement to include junior school students in promoting Shenzhen Polytechnic.
