The production of leather shoes in the first seven months has gone up 17.9% year on year to 2.19 billion pairs, in value term it has grown 22.6% reaching to187.3 billion yuan.
At the same time the average unite price for leather shoes reported a growth of 7.1% on export to $9.84 dollars, and the import value also saw a 16.9% growth on average unite price to $36.52 dollars.
The total footwear exports during the first seven months reported a growth of 26.6% in volume to 5.9 billion pairs, and 23.3% rising in value to $18.33 billion dollars. But the imports dropped 4.5% in volume to 17.45 million pairs, 16.5% increased in value to $430 million dollars.
