According to Hong Kong Consumer Council circulated the news, Hong Kong Customs found a plenty of Counterfeit leather goods in 17 franchise stores nowadays, and warned of consumers to be careful when buying leather goods in Hong Kong.
The trademark holder informed Hong Kong Customs of fake products circulated in Hong Kong markets months before, based on the report Hong Kong customs officials made an investigation on the business violations, and then took action to 17 retail stores and two offices in Hong Kong on August 31, and seized the suspected counterfeit goods that amount to 4500 pieces worth 5 million Hong Kong dollars.
The officials of Hong Kong Customs confirmed that the confiscated leather goods are faked products after further investigation. The trademark holder in Britain said these products are not authorized the right to use their brand.
