Leather delegates from UNSHLA came to China for tanneries visiting

Five delegates headed by UNSHLA president Chris Mullally came to China for a business trip to Shandong province on September 6, 2010, which got support from China Leather Industry Association. The Unite States delegates paid a visiting to three leading tanneries in Shandong province, they are big buyers on hides and skins from America.

Maintaining healthy and sound bilateral trade is main topic for both sides, for ensuring both sides common interests and maintaining a stable and friendly trade relationship, trade issues like price fluctuation, quality and defects and differentials were discussed that they have been met during trade before. Consensus has achieved for solving trade disputes by communication through UNSHLA and CLIA.

Issues put forward by Chinese tanneries will be brought back to discuss on UNSHLA annual meeting that will take place on next month. America sides made commitment to take effective measures to solve these issues and prevent them happen again. At the end of visiting the delegates expressed their appreciation to Chinese side for their trip arrangement and invited Chinese tanneries and CLIA to visit the industry in America.
