Egypt is going to focus on value added products such as leathergoods which are expected to help the country to boost its trade with China from the current $6 billion to $10 billion a year within 3 years.
Egyptian exports only count for around $300 million of that total now, but the country's Ministry of Commercesaid concentrating on added value products, including leathergoods, chemical products and building materials, could help increase this to $1.5 billion.
