The garment exporter’s community and the knitwear manufacturers in particular are not happy with the stimulus package released in the just announced budgetary proposals for the next fiscal year, since there does not seem to be a clarity on the same.
The main grievance of the exporters seems to be that there seems to be no clear direction. They lament the fact that in the stimulus package declared in April, there was no incentive for the knitwear exporter.
They also add by saying that, the government should have come out with concrete proposals looking at the current global situation, on lines of those announced by China and India just a few months back.
