WARREN, May 26, 2010 - Two large steel anchors valued at $5,000 each were taken from United Refractories, 1929 Larchmont Ave. N.E., sometime between 2 p.m. Saturday and 5 a.m. Monday, according to police reports.
Maintenance personnel told police someone cut a lock on a front gate, pried open the doors to the building where the anchors were stored and used dollies to haul the items to the parking lot.
Other buildings were entered as well, but it was unclear if anything else was taken, reports state.
