Since its inception in 2004, Yarn Expo has gained popularity amongst industry professionals and continues to attract leading international and domestic exhibitors. Running for three-days from 31 March 2010 at the China World Trade Centre, the event will feature a diverse range of products that will be divided into several zones for easy navigation at the fair. Acting as a trade channel between both foreign and domestic fabric manufacturers and local producers, Yarn Expo has become well established in the global textile market. This is a key factor for exhibitors return participation in the fair. "The show is an great opportunity for us to promote our products to the Chinese market, expand our customer base, as well as reinforce the relationships we have built over the past few years at this show, said Mr Sandeep Goel, General Manager for Kaybee Grupo, supplier of spun yarns, filament yarns and fibres. New exhibitors are also keen to meet with potential buyers that attend the fair each season. "We produce high quality fancy yarn using cotton, linen, mohair and wool,"comments Mr Chris Lee, Manager for Saint Andre Far East Ltd. "Although this is our first participation in the fair, we look forward to meeting new clients from around the world, especially from China, which is one of our biggest markets." Improved features add value to buyer s sourcing experience The show will present natural, manmade and speciality/fancy fibres and yarns with end uses including knitting, weaving and apparel textiles. The majority of suppliers will group into three highlighted areas including viscose, bamboo / ramie and fire retardant fibres.
