Zheng'an County, Zunyi City of southwest China's Guizhou Province has suffered serious flooding in recent days. Some 48,100 hectares of farmland in north Guizhou Province was affected by the heavy rainfall, over 6,100 hectares of which would probably have no harvest. The ecomomic cost of the floods through loss to agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishing would be up to 100 million RMB.
