China may harvest 169 million metric tons of corn this year, the China National Grain & Oils Information Center said in a report today, 1 million tons more than its estimate a month ago.
The center also increased its forecast of soybean production to 14.8 million tons from 14.5 million tons last month. Output of rice, wheat and rapeseed may be 196.4 million tons, 114.40 million tons, and 12.6 million tons, respectively, the center said in e-mailed report today.
