China: FRESHARE for Dalian Yidu Group(71014)

Committed in offering high quality products, Dalian Yidu Group is known for importing fruit and vegetables from different countries into China.

The company is still growing and offers a wide variety of fruits. Imported products include stone fruit, citrus, apple, grape, mango, kiwi and other fruits coming from USA, Europe and South America and South-East Asia.

After twenty-three years in the business, Dalian Yidu Group have developed a long term cooperative relationship with different agricultural enterprises worldwide which the company believes benefit the consumers for a better selection of fruits.

"As a result, Dalian Yidu was able to attract suppliers from the around the world and gives us the option to choose the best products to offer the Chinese consumers," says brand manager Maggie He of Dalian Yidu Group.

Maggie says that there has been an increase in the demand of imported products for the past years among Chinese consumers though the majority of imported fruit are mainly bought by the middle class. Chinese consumers like to buy imported fruit which are not in season. Imported fruit remains more expensive than domestic products.

Dalian Yidu trades under the brand name of FRESHARE which was obtained last year from the State Administration for Industry and Commerce of the People's Republic of China (SAIC). "The company aims to establish FRESHARE into a well known brand not only in China but around the world providing high quality agricultural products." said Maggie.

Imported fruits are extra popular during Chinese holidays such as Spring Festival and Dalian Yidu also offer fruit gift boxes.

Dole, Unifrutti, Copefrut, x-treme, Sunkist, CFN, ENZA, and Chelan are some of Dalian Yidu's cooperative partners.
