Shanghai Issues Expo Clearance Guidance (with photo)

On 2 July( 300 days ahead of the 2010 World Expo), under the authorization of the General Administration of Customs, Shanghai Customs District and Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination co-issued the guidance for Customs clearance formalities tailored for the Expo. Shanghai Customs District will adopt a full range of customized measures to implement the guidance and provide ultimate clearance convenience for the participants. According to the statistics, by 30 June 2009, Shanghai Customs District has released 23 batches of inward Expo-related materials which involve a value of USD 5.62 million.
