2010 National Grassland Monitoring Work Conference and Training Course for Monitoring Technology Held in Kunming

From April 27 to 28, 2010 National Grassland Monitoring Work Conference and Training Course for Monitoring Technology organized by MOA Grassland Supervision Center were held in Kunming, Yunnan Province. At the meeting, achievements and experiences of grassland monitoring work in 2009 were summarized, the national grassland monitoring work in 2010 was instructed, and monitoring technology training course was also conducted. Technical workers and experts on grassland monitoring work from 22 provinces attended the meeting. Liu Liangui, Deputy Director-General of MOA Grassland Supervision Center attended and addressed the meeting.

In his speech, Liu Liangui reviewed the achievements of national grassland monitoring work in 2009. He pointed out that at this stage and in the near future, local governments should improve grassland monitoring system, promote the construction of fixed monitoring stations, implement grassland monitoring functions at all levels, and give full play to the outcomes of grassland monitoring work. At the same time, Liu Liangui arranged the grassland monitoring work in 2010.
