Yang Jixue Accompanied Vice President Xi Jinping s Visit to Belarus,Signing a Framework Agreement for Cooperation with Belorussian State Enelgy Corcern

Yang Jixue, President of CGGC and Chairman of China Gezhouba Group Co., Ltd. (the Company), accompanied the visit of Xi Jinping, Chinese Vice President, to Belarus as the representative of Chinese entrepreneurs. Witnessed by leaders of the two states, Yang, on behalf of the Company, signed the Framework Agreement for Strategic Cooperation on Hydropower Project Development with Belorussian State Enelgy Corcern.

Belarus has numerous rivers within its territory and thus has great potential for hydroelectric development. The signed agreement laid a solid foundation for CGGC s active participation in Belarus s hydroelectric development.
During the visit, Yang exchanged views with First Vice-Premier Vladimir Semashko and Minister of Energy Alexander Ozieriec. Semashko expressed high expectations for CGGC s participation in developing Belarus hydroelectric sources. The country is weak in energy development and is in urgent need for a modern electric power industry. CGGC s involvement will exert a positive influence upon the socioeconomic development of the country.
