Mr. Guo Shengkun, Secretary of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region visited China Resources Power Hezhou Company Limited

On 26 September 2010, Mr. Guo Shengkun, Party secretary of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Director of the NPC Standing Committee of autonomous regions, inspected the construction site of China Resources Power (Hezhou) Co., Ltd. and learned more about the construction of Circular Economy Demonstration Zone in CR Hezhou. Mr. Yang Daoxi (Vice Chairman of Zhuang Autonomous Region), Mr. Peng Xiaochun (Party Secretary of Hezhou City) and Mr. Bai Xi (Mayor of Hezhou City) accompanied the visit.

During the visit, Mr. Guo Shengkun debriefed the report from the representative of CR-power Hezhou Company on development of Circular Economy Demonstration Zone of CR Hezhou, and watched together the feature film on Demonstration Zone. Mr. Guo highly commended China Resources' innovative approach of developing circular economy, which demonstrates not only a strong market awareness, but also high degree of social responsibility and historic mission.

Despite the rain, Mr. Guo and the delegation visited the plant site, and affirmed the progress of the project. Mr. Guo also placed great hope on further development of CR Hezhou into a first-class coal-fired power plant while progressing circular economy.
