At the 2006 CES, TCL debuted Viiv LCD TV - a new concept of "Digital Entertainment Center" as collaborated between TCL and Intel.

Viiv is Intel new platform designed for the enjoyment of digital entertainment, which can improve family entertainment experience and help to manage home entertainment.

Base on Viiv technology, the Viiv LCD TV displayed as produced by TCL is a complete 3C product for digital home entertainment. In addition to the traditional TV functions, the Viiv TV can also be connected to 3C products and terminals to realize the information sharing. It can play diversified audio and video files stored in Viiv computer and other electronic devices, and also visit the multimedia resources offered by Viiv partners on the internet directly via Viiv PC.

To highlight the close partnership between TCL and Intel, Paul S. Otellini, President and CEO of Intel Corporation, visited TCL booth at CES. Mr. Otellini and Chairman Li, Chairman and CEO of TCL Corporation, had a pleasant talk and watched the demonstration of Viiv technology based as utilized through the LCD TV as produced and marketed by TCL. Chairman Li presented Mr. Otellini a TCL VERONE portable computer equipped with the Viiv technology as a gift.
