Co-sponsored by Chinese Steel Industry Association, ASEAN Steel Association and Vietnam Steel Industry Association, presented by China International Trade Promotion Committee Metallurgy Industry Branch, Vietnam International Steel and Metal Processing Exhibition (ISME Vietnam) was held on December 8th in the international conference and exhibition center in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Domestic well-known steel enterprises such as TISCO, BaoSteel, Ansteel, Wisco, Shougang, Masteel, Baotou Iron all participated in the exhibition.
Mr. Ruan Chengbian, vice minister of Vietnam Industry &Trade Ministry, Mr. Ruan Zhongxin, vice mayor of Ho Chi Minh city, Mr.XuMingLiang, consul general of China consulate in Ho Chi Minh city, and other visitors visited TISCO exhibition stand and gave high appraisals. During the exhibition, TISCO representatives attended the symposium held by ASEAN and Vietnam Steel Association, discussing the steel technology cooperation between TISCO and ASEAN and Vietnam with related personnel, TISCO also visited Vietnam steel, POSCO Vietnam Company and other enterprises. Many Vietnam companies expressed their desires to jointly foster Vietnam stainless steel market with TISCO, and improve the reputation and well-knownness of TISCO products, realize the win-win cooperation.
The exhibition is held under the background of China's economy recovering powerfully in financial crisis, ASEAN countries especially our country s neighbor-Vietnam of which the economy is continuously taking a favorable turn and the first anniversary after establishment of China-ASEAN Free Trade Area. TISCO exhibition is sure to play a positive role in ASEAN market fostering for TISCO products and TISCO s transformation and spanning development.
