At 9 a.m. on September 16th, the 3rd China (Taiyuan) International Energy Industry Exposition with the theme as "green energy, circular economy, transition development" was opened grandly in Shanxi Exhibition Center. Chen Changzhi, the vice-Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, declared the opening. Zhang Huaixi, former vice chairman of the CPPCC national committee, attended the opening ceremony. Mr. Yuan Chunqing, secretary of provincial party committee, director of the provincial people's congress standing committee, honorary director of the organizing committee, Mr. Li Xueyong, secretary and deputy minister of Science and Technology Department, honorary director of the organizing committee, Mr. Gao Hucheng, international trade negotiator and vice minister of Commerce Department, delivered speeches respectively. Mr. Wang Jun, deputy secretary of provincial party committee, governor, and director of the organizing committee, presided over the opening ceremony. Mr. Zhi Shuping, minister of General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, Mr. Xue Yanzhong, deputy secretary of provincial party committee, chairman of provincial People's Political Consultative Conference, attended the opening ceremony.

Before the opening ceremony, Chen Changzhi together with other leadership of national ministries, provincial leadership and leadership of related department of national ministries, visited the exhibition area. In TISCO area, Mr. Li Xiaobo, president of TISCO, introduced TISCO s new technology and new achievements on recycling economy, energy conservation and environmental protection, green products manufacturing, stainless steel further processing and other aspects to the leaders and guests. Then, the leaders and guests visited the bright-spot exhibitions like residual power and residual-heat utilization, wastes disposal and treatment, clean energy to the city and etc in high spirits, and show their compliment to TISCO s achievements. Mr. Zhou Yizhou, chief accountant of the Group Company, Mr. Chai Zhiyong and Mr. Zhang Zhifang, deputy general managers of the Stainless Steel Co., Ltd., as well as the other leaders form relevant departments of the company visited the exhibition center, and made extensive exchanges with the other exhibitors.

The exhibits and models displayed in the Energy Industry Exposition by TISCO, focuses of the featured exhibition highlighted on green ecological concept and new energy products by comprehensively displaying clean production and circular economy mode. Stepping into the TISCO area, dynamic model exhibition stand integrated sound, light and electricity, matches with a large area of ecological background like real green grass lawn, running water and golden carps, interweaves a three-dimensional multi-dimensional display space by LED electronic pictures, energy monitor system, computer simulation, large TV specials and tangible products and other forms, which bringing a strong visual, sound experience to the guests. Models displayed respectively in exhibition stands are a group of new projects in the world's advanced level, such as: complete process of 7.63 meter coke oven cleaner production, CCPP blast furnace gas combined cycle power generation, sewage treatment recycle usage, coking coal moisture adjustment, sintering machine flue gas desulphurization and acid making equipment, blast furnace slag ultra fine powder production line, mixed acid regeneration and etc. A number of new steel materials physical model used for railways, nuclear power, petrochemical, coinage industries are exhibited on the exhibition, which intuitively reappears that TISCO s products play an important role in human life. During the exhibition, many parties and attendees are attracted to visit TISCO area by its unique angle of view, rich contents and stereoscopic display technique, many representatives and guests show keen interests to TISCO s new process, new technology and new achievements, staying and watching, some of them make consultation and ask for relevant information, the atmosphere is very warm.

China (Taiyuan) International Energy Industry Exposition, approved by the State Council, co-sponsored by the People's Government of Shanxi Province and Commerce Ministry, Science and Technology Ministry and Energy Bureau of the state, is a national, international and professional exposition which is held on the basis of two completed China (Taiyuan) International Coal and Energy New Industry Exposition. Once every two years. Duration for this Energy Expo are three days, main contents include energy industry new products, new technology display, trading and ordering, investment and trade negotiation, summit forum and seminar. A total of 672 enterprises from 18 countries and regions attended the Expo, professional businessmen reach to 28,200.
