| On Dec. 23, ceremony for hot load trail run of slab casting machine for heavy plate and cold rolling & acid pickling set was held at Baosteel Co., Ltd. Xie Qihua, Liu Guosheng, Xu Lejiang, Ouyang Yingpeng and Ai Baojun-top management of Baosteel and representatives of the relevant unit attended the ceremony. The steel grades cover all heavy plate varieties with an annual designed production capacity of 2.3 million tons. 1800 cold rolling project is the most advanced project in China to produce sedan sheet with the highest automatization level and the largest scale in China. It can produce 1.7 million tons of steel, among which 900 thousand tons are cold rolled products and 800 thousand tons are hot dipped products.
