Cultural Activities Being Introduced into Village in Huaiyin District

In order to enrich cultural activities of the masses and build happy festival atmosphere, a cultural activity was jointly held in Zhuzhuang Village on March, 18 by No.1 Group of Shandong Peking Theater, Huaiyin Bureau of Culture and Duandian Culture Station. Over 40 actors from Shandong Peking Theater arrived at Zhuzhuang Village. They put up a stage and provided villagers with an excellent performance. The opera they performed was traditional selected scenes including modern drama, costume drama, among which Shajiabang and Guizhongyuan etc. were warmly welcomed by villagers and drew bursts of applause. Nearly a thousand villagers enjoyed the performance. The actors were happy together with villagers. The activity animated the culture in the village and enriched people s culture life, thus promoted cultural and ideological progress and benefited the establishment of harmonious cultural atmosphere.
